Subject: Boeing – Ultra cut approval

Greetings with good news,

Gary Liijenburg at Boeing has just told me that Prolong MSDS has been
approved and assigned an internal Boeing number. It is #125603.

Prolong Ultra-cut may be used For Boeing machine applications.

Recent successful applications:

i. ¼ hole 10” deep heat treated 4340: Could not get one hole completed
with a drill lasting 1 hole. Using Prolong they completed 6 holes. Applied by
misting not flooding.

ii. Metal cutting saw on 8˝ round #4340 and some flat stock. Blade would
squeal and make all kinds of racket and chatter. With PRL they now have a
very quiet result. Further, Gary said he adjusted the feed without the
machinist knowing it. He expects the blades will be lasting longer as well.

iii. They are currently using PRL as mist on 3 Brigeport mills.

We can expect them to expand into flooding coolant applications. Gary has several in mind.

Boeing is a great testimonial to share.

Cheers,

Steve

“The Art of Driving & Set-Up Taught By Champions”

Dear Prolong:

I have been in the racing business for over 35 years and have seen a lot of products come and go. The products never seem to live up to their “claims”, so I have grown to be very skeptical. When first introduced to Prolong – I decided to let my FinishLine Racing School (FLRS) put it to the test!

The FLRS was testing at USA International Speedway; a ¾ mile, 16˚ banked asphalt track located in Orlando, FL. In the early morning we set a baseline for Oil & Water temperatures; 260˚ oil and 200˚ water. We ran the race car all morning for over 100 laps with ambient air temperature at 90˚. At noon we drained our System One oil filter and added a quart of Prolong to the motor. This was the only change we made. The FLRS continued to run the race throughout the afternoon, recording consistent oil temperatures in the 220˚ range, and water temperature in the 160˚ - 170˚ range. (Please note the ambient air temperature approached the 95˚ level.) Which proved to me the product worked. After returning to the FLRS shop the oil was drained, the oil filter cleaned and we carefully examined both for chemical debris-and found none. Prolong “chemically” really worked.

To further prove this was not a one-time deal. The FLRS had a “Serious”, 3 day Race School at Martinsville Speedway, VA, on June 10th – 12th , 1997. The race cars ran great the first day. After putting 400 laps on one race car we decided at the end of the day to change the oil. We assumed that we had PROLONG additive in the trailer. After tearing the trailer apart we discovered that we were 650 miles away from home with no PROLONG! We made 15 phone calls and no one in the area had any – or even knew what PROLONG was! We went to the parts store, purchased a competitors product and crossed our fingers. We fought high oil and water temperatures for the next four days – it was a nightmare! The lesson that we learned is to never ever have any engine in the FLRS that has not been treated with PROLONG. The race cars run over 1500 laps in a three day school, and because of the constant abuse, that’s comparable to 50,000 miles on a street car!

To put our experience in a nutshell “PROLONG Works!”

Sincerely Yours; Mike
